Membership


Membership is open to artists and other persons who are 18 years of age or older and reside in Florida, Georgia or Alabama. Annual membership renewals are due January 1^st or before. Members who pay dues after March 1^st will not be eligible to enter the Members' Exhibition in the fall. New memberships received after September 1^st will be valid through December 31^stof the following year.

Here are some reasons why it is worth while to join the Tallahassee Watercolor Society. The monthly meeting at the LeMoyne Arts Foundation Annex. The General Meeting of the TaWS is on the 3^rd Sunday of the month (with some exceptions). The informational programs at these meetings are chosen to offer the members insights into other artists works and into current technologies that may be used as artistic tools. The monthly Artists' Dialog. At these gatherings artists provide helpful hints and shared information about your painting. The monthly Plein Air Tallahassee (PAT) field trip information. Members usually meet on the 4^th Sunday of the month (except during the summer) to paint in loco. The Tri-State Juried Water Media Exhibition. The Annual Juried Members' Exhibition. An Annual Workshop with a nationally known instructor. Information on other Workshops being offered in the area.
